Unified Teams app now available for Windows 10 and 11

Microsoft has just announced a significant update to its Teams application, making it even more versatile and user-friendly. The unified Microsoft Teams experience is now available on both Windows 10 and 11, offering a seamless switching between personal and work accounts in a single application.

  1. Open Microsoft Teams: Start by launching the Teams application on your device.
  2. Access Profile Settings: Look for your profile picture in the upper right corner of the Teams window and click on it.
  3. Add or Switch Accounts: From the drop-down menu, you can either add a new account or switch between your existing work, personal, or education accounts.
  4. Side-by-Side Windows: When you add or switch to another account, it will open in a separate, side-by-side window within the same Teams app, allowing you to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.

As many of us use personal and work teams accounts so this feature will greatly enhance the experience.

The update is already rolled out and you will get the updated teams via regular updates by Microsoft Teams , or you can download the latest Microsoft Teams with new features from here.
